Left home yesterday, checked on my 14g, everything is great. Get home about 9 hrs later and my torch is on the other side of my tank and my anemone is about 10 inches from where it was in the morning. Do they have a way of moving? If so, why do they move? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Torchs can't move on their own. Anemones can and will very often move. Anemones will move to find a place where it is happy. And even after it has been in a spot for a while it may still decide to just up and move one day.

They will move until they find a spot they like. What kind of lighting do you have with that tank?

HMMM...I was told that torches can fill up and kinda float.....I do not have one, and I don't know this for sure.

Not really. It is possible if it was blown around with some strong flow.

The flow hasn't been changed. As far as the lighting goes, its the fluorescent lighting that comes with tank.

What's the next best thing to the fluorescents?
Well since fluorescents really aren't any good...everything is better...If you want strong lighting inhabitants, look into metal halides....

Hey there,
Top of the line Power compacts work great! I could keep anything including clams, except SPS coral..
I switched to MH lights, I have the same type of corals and so far they don't like all the light.
I am hoping they get used to it.
Mine are coralife 48', has 4 double bulbs, making 8 lights total and 4 fans..two in and two out.
