With that light, I think I need a FTS. That light demands it!
lol - nice..
Just wondering though - what will your retro 250 end up costing you (once you end up with everything) - I'm trying to decide whether to just get a fixture or go retro.

well, my LFS has incredible prices, but I'll break it down anyway.
I already had the reflector, I already had that cover glass you see on my pan up there...
My 250 watt ballasts were 123.50 each
the sockets will be 22.50 each
and the wiring from lowe's, I do not know how much that stuff is yet. Oh and the plug adaptors were about 11 bucks apiece.
If you already have an empty canopy then a retro would be cheaper. But if you have nothing, then I think a full setup would be a better deal. Cause it has the moonlights and actinics and all that...

My pan up there woulda been $115 ballast, 10.50 socket, plus glass piece and bulb.
That's only a 150 watt though...
