want to get rid of bubbles in tank

I have little bubbles that are floating around in my tank that I want to get rid of. I think the bubbles are coming from my sump. The bubbles in my sump come from the 1" return pipe. I put some prefilter on the end of the tubing which cut down the bubbles a lot, but there are still some. there is also a prefilter on my return pump. Wondering if anyone has any other bubble control suggestions. Thanks

Do you know what is causing the bubbles in the first place? Dip a clear glass of water near your return in the sump and see if any bubbles are present before the return. If not then you either have a pinhole air leak between the sump and the return pump (external pumps only) or the pump you have is somehow restricted in the intake and is cavitating.
If there are bubbles in the sump you can set up baffles using a bucket or acrylic panes to allow the bubbles to rise out of the water before they get to the return pump.

Hi jeo put one baffle in sump so the top is above the water and bottom is open so the bubles will float up and your pump compartment will not get them if you dont understand pop me a email thats how my sump is
