when anyone sets up a new tank please keep it far enough away from the back of the wall in case you want to go with a larger filter..we didnt leave enough room from the wall to our 55 gallon,now we're stuck.the new filter wont fit in the small space in the rear.hard lesson to learn

yes it's easy to move but you will need more SW ready cuz you maynot want to use all the old water= dirty and you may lose some from spilling ect.. it's nice to have extra water handy

When i built my stand for teh 55 gallon, i made sure i left enough room, but i also put carpeting on the bottom- its on hard wood floors, so we can actually CARFULLY move it a little if needed.... we already DID move it back an inch, its not an easy project, but possible.
