while i was in vegas this weekend my green brain coral got covered partly by some of the sand thrown on him by eel pushing the sand around.... when i brushed the sand off of him i noticed that the are which was covered by sand like 1/2" area the tissue had receeded and i could see the calcium skeleton.....
my question is?> will the tissue go back where it has receeded from .... why did that happen?? and do u think he will make a full recovery??
thanks.....
o the only good thing was that i won $1300 in vegas thhis weekend

green brains are pretty skittish when it comes to being moved, touched, scraped, covered with sand, new lights, current, shadows, full moon... You name it...
They come back though.
Give it some time - and don't get impatient and assume it needs to be moved to another spot. Moving them really ticks them off :)
