Waste line form the RO/DI Unit

I am curious how folks run your waste line from the RO/DI unit. I have a Maximma unit that I have had over a year and have not hooked it up yet, primarily because of trying to figure out a way to recover some of the waste water.
With three tanks up and running I use about 50 gallons a week for water changes and top off. So, even if I got lucky enough to only waste 4 gallons for every one filtered gallon, I am still throwing out 200 gallons of water a week! And from what I read, I will more than likely use 6 gallons to get 1.
But I am getting tired of going and using the one-gallon-at-a-time RO machine in the lobby of the local grocery store (25 cents a gallon), or else making a run to the other side of town (40 cents a gallon and an hour each way) just to get water from the LFS. So even if it costs more to do it at home, ot would be worth it.
So, any input you guys have would be appreciated. Espeecially if anyone has figured out how to run the "waste" water back into the household supply.
Tnx,
Rick

I used to run it into a bucketa nd use it to flush toilets, and water plants. but that got old fast, espeically usuing it to flush toilets. heck I am retired pay my water bill and water is cheap here, and while we may use a lot, our bill is still always the minimum, so anymore it goes down the drain.Yes we have a septic tank, but its not a problem as if its clear clean water its going right out the leech fields anyhow.....

When we first installed our RO unit, we put it in the laundry room and had the waste water going into the washing machine. We have since moved the unit out to the garage and now have a nice watering system for our roses.

I thought about something like that, but I am looking at going through a lot of waste water each week.
Do you run the waster water into some sort of holding tank, or is there an automatic way of watering the roses?
Any other commetns or ideas?

I just let the waste line run into the garden, it is long enough that I can move it around to different areas of the garden.
We make about 20 gallons of good water each week, which yields around 60 gallons of waste.
Of course I live in the desert so the ground soaks up the water fast, even in the winter.

I think there is something to reuse the waste water as far as RO units, but not sure exactly what to tell you to search for

On another forum a person has been using it to water his dogs with........I do not agree with that as its too much concentrated junk....I certainly have not heard of much to do with it other than dump it out or use it for flowers, washing machine etc.
