wat can i feed my coral beauty?

wat can i feed it can i feed it lettuce or sumthin because i know they are like herbivores or something

I have a coral beauty that ive had for quite a while and he doesnt go for the greens at all.... he will eat anything meaty (ie mysis, brine, prime reef, formula 1, and frozen food...)

no dont feed stuff that we eat if it grows on the land its not a good food for the fish. if you have an oriental market close to you check it out for dryed nori or seaweed that is dried not seasoned just dryed.

Yeah, I remember when romaine lettuce was the green of choice; but there is so much stuff available now for herbivorous fish (a coral beauty is really an omnivore and needs meaty stuff and some veggies), there just isn't any reason not to use it. Another good food, to vary the diet is Frozen Formula II or one of the frozen angelfish foods that not only have a lot of greens, but sponge as well.

yeah and beleive it or not people still feed brocolii and romaine to tangs

definately not a good thing to do in the long run.

I 100% agree. The fish have a very hard time digesting it yet LFS's and distributors still use romain because it is cheap. Feed your SW fish only things that are found in the ocean.

feed it meaty stuff .. like the stuff mentioned above....
do you have enough live rock in your tank?
wouldnt he it be getting all the veggie matter off the rocks? Algae?
Mine does.
My coral beauty is always picking off algae from my live rock.
