watchman and snails

Do watchman eat snails? I don't see it in their 'bio' but,
I noticed over the past few days that there are lot of snail shells piling up near my watchman's home and just now I saw him carrying a snail in it's mouth from one end of the tank back to his home. I can't tell if it's an empty shell or not.

they shouldnt eat your snails. My watchman used to pick up snails and crabs in their shell and carry them around for awhile before dropping them off unharmed. My sfe took out my watchman though.

does your watchman seem to eat well...other than snails? because if he isnt getting enough food I'm sure they will go for anything they can eat...
