Watchman Goby is cornfused.......

He thinks he has to "watch" things from above all the time. He doesn't even have a cave........he just perches up on this pile of spaghetti most of the time. Wierd.

Watchmans are known for burrowing but, I wouldn't say that they are known for avalanches........Dragon Gobies yes but, Watchmans normally find a home and keep it..........mine hasn't dug into anything at all yet......he likes the high road.

BTW- My rock was all glued together and placed into the tank before any sand was added.......it's not going anywhere.

At least yours is still yellow!Mine has changed to a drab brownish color and has stayed that way for months.He too does not have a burrow.He lives under a couple of small pieces of rock and seems to just levitate over his rock all day waiting to be fed.I have been trying to find a pistol shrimp to keep him company.He used to push the other fish away from his territory,but they payed him no mind.He will open his mouth wide to look ferocious to scar them away.I kinda feel sorry for him when it does'nt work.

eh...at least you can see the little guy, when he was in my tank I saw him twice in 6 months

In my tank.......he has all kinds of other fish around to be afraid of and he is out all day now. I don't get it.
