very different fish. the engineer/convict goby/blenny is neither a goby nor a blenny. it is in the Pholodichthyidae family. they are burrowers which get quite large (over a foot).
a watchman goby is any fish in the gobiidae family which is famous for living symbiotically with a pistol shrimp.
