Watchman goby

Is two inches of sand enough for these guys. I know DSB should be 3-4 and plan on raising it up to 4 after I move in a couple of months.

3 inch's in plenty those guys mine borrows under the live rock, there cool looking but mine hides most of the time.

All my watchman does is set on the sand or on top of the rock, I wish he would burrow.

Mine burrows under one of the rocks and dug a tunnel to swim under another. Just seems like he wants more sand in some spots it's only 2' and in others it's 3. He's now starting to eat some brine shrimp, but didn't know if that shallow of a sand bed could keep him feed.
