Water Change Ratio! What Should it be???

As I first stated, it is all on preference. I didn't even realize that you had a sump.
How is your tank doing with your current water change schedule? Did you just start adding corals?

hahaha didnt realize it, how'd you miss it. it was in the opening line of the thread. ive had corals for over a year now. they are all fine, but i know my ratio was off. so with doing a 30 gallon water change they will respond nicely to it. my tank is doing fine as far as health wise, but i want to improve in curtain area's where i kno i can. and doing a proper water change can only mean great results.
i have a sump, with an oversized skimmer, huge fuge in the sump, my lights are more than whats needed. so with having all these pluses on a mixed LPS and softies tank with proper water changes, the tank should go to another level eventually

I agree so 30 gallons every two weeks will be fine. Your WC ratio was working before so more could only help.
