How long does the salt/water mix need to sit before you add that to the tank. I have been told 24hrs or 3 hrs?

Safe bet is always 24 hrs with movement and air......

i agree 100 percent i do mine for 24hrs. both of my tanks are set at the same temp and salinity. my reef and my FOWLR are set at 1.025 and 79deg.
