Water change with different salt?

Hi,has anyone done a water change using a different brand of salt,my lfs is closed and I am going up to ***** to get instant ocean to do a water change I normally use crystal sea? Thanks.

Should not be a problem. Just don't use table salt!

Sorry for the OT, but do you have a pic of your tank, I have that same tank, but could never get it to look right with the live rock I have.

Actually Reef Crystals and IO are made by the same manufacture, so they are basically the same, except for -- has additional reef related elements.
In any case, you can use any salt.

Just a little advice.....I went to both ***** and Petsmart last night to get salt. Instant Ocean at ***** was $16.99 for the 25 gallon box. Petsmart had a 50 gallon Instant Ocean bag for $16.99. Twice as much for the same price at Petsmart!
This is in the Denver Metro area.
