Water Change

I suppose there are a few pieces of info that would help answer that question.
What size tank and what inhabitants?
What type of filtration setup?
How often do you feed?
What are your tank parameters right before you do your water change?

It really depends on water volume and bio-load, some people do water changes once a week, some people do water changes every month,, it is really a case by case scenario.

main reason i asked this ? was because i only have 4 corals in my tank and if i keep doing my 10% weekly WC, would i get high Ca readings or other none used up minerals that the corals do not use? cause if they are not using those minerals and stuff then if i keep adding more new salt wouldn't that be bad? b/c the minerals would just keep getting built up. i use tropic-marin pro reef.

no, the unused ca would be taken out with the water change, then replaced again with the new water.
