Water changes Daily vs. weekly

I usually do a 10 gallon water change every week. Sometimes every other. I am thinking to going to 1 gallon per day. I figure this will be easier to do than the 10 gallon because I wont need to get out the big tubs, heat the water or pump it into the tank. I would just dump a gallon in pull a gallon out. How would this effect the now happy tank? Any thoughts.
EDIT:
I more want to know about this in terms of health of the tank.

I think it would be less time consuming to do 1 10-gallon water change instead of 7 1-gallon water change.
I use the same MJ1200 to mix the water and to pump the water into my tank.

It takes about an hour to do a water change. Getting everything out and heating the water and putting it away.
I cant imagine it taking 5 minutes to pour a gallon from the 5 gal drum (Natural sea water) into a 1 gal bucket dumping it in (unheated) and pulling out a gallon from the sump. Easy.
I more want to know what people think about this from a health standpoint for the tank.

I would do water changes on a case by case basis, if your sytem is very stable I would even consider 5 gallons a week, easier than the 10, other people do it bi weekly other monthly, but if you are having any other issues, NITRATES, PHOSPHATES obviously you would stick to your 10g a week.

wouldn't it be better to take a gallon out then add a gallon of fresh clean water? Cause the way you say you would do it seems like the reverse would be better?

if your tank is "ideal" now then doing the changes everyday is okay as long as there are no drastic changes in the readings and the water is consistent with the tank......by doing the changes everyday you are basically another filter which is good and constantly supplying necessary minerals, etc......by doing it every week you are letting the waste gather in the tank and removing it all at once which is fine to and then resupplying all the minerals, etc that were used up in that time
doing the one gallon a day just make sure the salt is mixed well and add...check the sg the next day to make sure it's where you want it.....i think this is more of a personal preference....

if you take a gallon out of the tank it needs to be refilled with a gallon of saltwater......if you lose water from evaporation then it needs to be filled with fresh water.....only freshwater evaps the salt stays in the tank

This isn't entirely true.
I do a quasi daily change. I have a 72 gallon at 1.026 SG. I do a 5 gallon water change once a week.
During the week though.. everyday water evaporates to raise my salinity to 1.0265-1.027.. I just trickle in about a half gallon of mixed water at 1.023 SG every 2 days or so. Brings the salinity back down to 1.026, but continually adds trace elements and avoids the shock of adding fresh water directly to the tank.

same solution ....different way of solving it....

True.. but it does tend to keep a more consistant chemical balance and trace element supply in the tank.
Allows you to cut way back on the additives.

ok IMO its better to do 10g weekly here is why
day1 - 1g out 1g in = about 11% water change
day2 - 1g out 1g in = about 10% old 1% of the water you put in uesterday
day3 - 1g out 1g in = about 9% old 1% two day old water and 1% one day old water
day4 - 1g out 1g in = about 8%old water 1% 3day water 1%two day water 1%one day water.......
and it keeps escelating so each day the water change becomes less and less effective as your end up removing just as much new water as old. its a waste of salt and time IMO
