Since I do not have an RO/DI unit, If I go to the store and buy some DI water, can I put that in my tank and not have to put any cycle/TLC....whatever that stuff is called you put in tap water. Just trying not to have to put this stuff in my tank since it makes my Protien Skimmer bubble up my tank and the cup fills up about every 5 min.

I'm not a shark But I've been around now for a while. Your local Grocery store (Safeway/Food Lion for two) have RO/DI water for .69 cents a gallon. I use this for nine months until I purchased my RO/DI unit off of ----. This water is perfect for changes, just add salt, heat and blow around for a day in a 5 gall on bucket and your good to go.
:D
