How many GPH Water Circulation Pumps should I go with in a 75 gal tank

Yes that is the plan to make it a reef tank just starting.

There are various opinions on this subject. I think the real need will depend on the aquascape you put together along with the animals you wish to keep.
In my opinion a good place to start is a total tank flow rate around 1500gph. If it were me I would put about 500gph through your sump on the main pump and 1000gph through powerheads or a closed loop.

Ahh.... someone who gets it. You only need enough flow through your filtration system to support the filtration. Handle the rest of your flow with powerheads or closed loops. It'll make the system quieter and less likely to flood.

+1. Saltwater tanks need to have enough gph to turn them over at least 10-15 times per hour. So 75 x 15 = 1125gph. And most of this should be from powerheads in the tank. I use Koralia's for example, but everyone has thier favorites.
