that's a tough one :notsure: I'd say if you tanks size is turned over 10X per hour you have light flow, 20X is med and 30X is getting up there..
FWIW, I do about 40-50X .... my display tank is 120 and I run a few pumps that add up to 5000-6000 gph...I run 2x820 Seio's, an Amp Master 3000 for sump return and a Sequence Barracuda on my closed loop.
