water flow

I have a 125 and I place one of my powerheads near the top with the water flow towards the top of the water so I get good surface circulation. I also place my second water flow towards the middle. Not sure if this is right but it seems to be working out so far.

Suggestion - if you use a sump - I run a quiet one 6000 back to each return
that give 3000 gallons an hour manufacturer rating. Then place one or two Sieo M1500 in center. the returns angle toward center and down some. The Sieo's angled slightly back to ends. At top manufacturer rating this will give you just over 6000 g/h but in reality more like 4500 g/h. IMO it's more than enough. If I ever do this again (and I will) I would have the back glass panel
predrilled for more return jets on a sequence pump! The only thing I want in the display is water, rock, sand, and livestock! You really don't want to be in your tank working on PH's and stuff.

Really I think it's a personal preference.....Your trying to keep the debris suspended to be skimmed out of the water to your skimmer and sump area......
