when you mix your salt with the RO water how long do you have to let it sit in your jug before you can put it in your tank to do a water change? Getting ready to do my first one! Thanks alot peeps!!!

My understanding is that the water/salt mix should be allowed to blend, with constant water movement (via pump/PH), for at least 24 hours, 48 possibly better.
If a water change (in lieu of first water in a new tank), of course the salinity and temp must match what's in the tank already . . . but you already know that.

IMO, it all depends the temp of the RO water. You needed get the water as close to room temp. as possible. I usually wait a day. Additionally, I mix the water (dumping from bucket to bucket) so the salt dissolves in the water.
