Hey everybody
i just gathered the money i need to finish my water movement controls for my 135,
so far i got 700gph pump from the sump which is abour 4-5 below, so i assume that it end up giving less water flow than 700 to the display tank,
beside that i got about 120 gph from my consiner filter, and another 250 power head with that rotating head,
now i was looking into couple of option to finish this system up,
i was thinking to get the Lifegard Customflo Water System and use it in a close loop from the tank,
has anyone tried doing it?
or should i get 2-3 powerheads?

well worth it though. you can even look at adding 3 maxi-jet 1200's and putting a hydor bio-wheel on.

i think i might just do that..... still about half the price of the other guy
by the way where would be the best place to place them?
on the back glass or what?

I have been reading alot of good reviews on the Tunze powerheads....worth it. I'm about to purchase 3 Nanostreams, they are cheaper, smaller, a little less flow but you can buy 2 for the same cost as the bigger Stream and get almost the same GPH with more than one current stream. :joy:

Not near the same flow rate but I guess you could spend the extra $$$ and get that little supercharger converter thingy. How much then and how bulky compared to the Nanostream?

I used to have 2 MaxiJets 1200 in my 75G. They worked OK, but once in a
wile they “spit” bunch of micro bubbles clouding the water – not a big deal
but irritating to me
Couldn’t find any solution to bubbles… so when Tunze Nanostream finally
were for sale I bought 2 - 6025 model. So far I am not disappointed.
No bubbles, a lot more flow (660gph each), a lot less power consumption
(less heat emitted into the water). And they come with magnet holders – no
suction caps. They also look neat.
If you can-go for it you will like them.
