Hey guys!, I've recently started a reef tank and ive had a few corals die on me, i dont want anymore to die so I want to know what are the actual prefered water parameters for a reef tank, what should salinity/temp be at, what should I be dosing (iodine, etc) and how often? And any other useful water quality informations/links would be appreciated thanks

The ideal temperatures for your tank need to revolve around the animals you want to keep. You need to know where they came from and where they thrive in the wild. I'm probably not helping you much. In general most tropical reef animals can thrive with a salinity between 35ppt and 37ppt, a water temp between 80F - 85F (stable), loads of water current, and lots of light.
My advice on dosing is to only dose elements you are testing regularly and understand why you need to dose it.
