What is the preferred water everyone likes to use? I bought all of my water for my 29 Gal at the LFS its Catalina Ocean water. That way I don't have to mix salt etc... Just put the water in and everything should be good right?
What does it do to become a hassle? I thought that real ocean water would be better because thats what is in the ocean. Am I wrong? Do I still need to add salt? When I do top offs should I not do it with this water?
I fond that water to have a high salinity. So always test the water before adding. I always had to add fresh water to get the salinity down to 1.026. Always use fresh water for top off's. Only water gets evaporated not the salt.
