Water temp?

Hi guys,
Just wondering what you all keep your water temp at. I keep mine at 75 degrees- do so because I read the book by Michael Paletta- and it said to keep it at that temp, but I am wondering what everyone else keeps it at. And if turning the temp up a couple of degrees would make any difference in fish temperment...??

80 degrees. Don't know about the fish temperment, but if you do change it, do so gradually over the period of a few days.

80-82 also helps to have a protien skimmer to oxygenate the water.
Remember lighting and pumps are factors in heat during the day. Pumps also at night.

hmm.. the reason I was wondering was because my clowns love to stay on one side of the tank, and I was wondering if it was because my heater was there... maybe they get too cold on the other side of the tank? I think I will try to gradually turn it up. 76 today, and after two days one more degree, until I get to 78 or 79. Thanks everyone!
