water top off

i have been without power since wed. cause of ivan. my tank level is low. can i used the water i mixed up last sat to top it off with. it hasn't been circulated or heated.

If you're referring to RO/DI with no salt I don't see a problem.
If you're referring to salt water, I'd do a partial water change. You don't want to raise the salinity. Water evaporates but the salt content remains the same. :D

I feel so sorry for you big guy. I know he didn't mean to do that to you. BTW, I hope they can use another name next time. :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

I would also use only RO/DI unsalted water....Sorry to hear about the tough situation:nervous: Just try to keep the parameters as normal as possible; i.e. steady heat & salinity in spite of increased evaporation, inconsistent heat source and decreased circulation. Do you have access to a generator? How long are they anticipating that you will be without power? Keep us updated!
