IMO I agree with KIp RO/DI unit is the only way to go. I top off with this water as well as make my aged saltwater. My nitrates are <5ppm and my phosphates are 0 with regular water changes. I do not have any significant algae problems. We invest so much in our tanks corals and fish that to invest in a small RO/DI machine is well worth it in the long run.:happyfish

That sounds like a good system you have there. Some day....I will be able to get something like that. I'm getting tired of well water. Tastes good, Smells good, Looks good...But whats in it? :)
