i have been using tap water for my tank and was told i should switch to de-ion water, and was also tols walmart sells it cheap... i could not find any.. so i bought distilled water... is this the same thing if not is it safe to use??? :help:

Yes distilled water is fine. The R/O water from Walmart has a green label and it says drinking water. I just bought 10 gallons for $.58

Interesting...any way to know if all wal-marts carry this? I would love to switch from distilled to ro if it's that cheap!! Is this at Super w-marts? and where do they have it? grocery section, department section....?

If you use tap you have to have it tested first to make sure there are no things in it that cause algea blooms "there are alot that cause this lol".
