Hi i have a ten gallon tank for my room. I am in college and dont have alot of space. i am thinking about getting a lite that says it can produce up to 28 watts and it is a coralight . I was wondering is this enough lite for the tank for coral and fish in a ten gallon tank.

A 32w/28w PC over a 10g is a little bit weak. You could get away with it, but it will be more difficult. For the 10g you could do 2 X 32w PC's. This would require you to build a hood though. There are also Coralife hoods with fans built in with two of these lights. I belive they are under $100. That would be enough light for most corals. Look for more then 4 watts per gallon.
PS there might be a lot more info on hood for 10g in the nano forum of this site.

I had really good luck with 2X32/28 PC on my 10. It had several different softies in it. You will need to build a hood, but that's easy with a ten. There are fairly reasonable retro systems available. You might also be able to find a 96w quad for it. Check out ----, I've been really lucky there.
