Wavemaker?

My new 55g is cycling and everything looks great. My question is I have three powerheads in my tank(also have a return pump), 1200 and 2x900 Maxijets, and I was wondering if I should continue running them all the time or should I invest in a make maker? I have seen the RedSea Wavemaster pro at my local fish stores and on other websites and wondering if anyone has any experience with them? Also is there any other wavemakers that I should look into? Thanks for any help you can provide.

You could, but remember that if you get a wavemaker your powerheads will be fluctuating on and off, reducing overall flow. You might need to add another powerheads if you do that. A much cheaper alternative are the hydor rotating flo deflectors. They're like $10 a pop, and they'll create nice random wave patterns, too. They do reduce overall flow somewhat, but not as bad (I think) as the electronic wavemakers.
