Weather is weird

Right now it is 61 degrees.....supposed to get up to about 68
YET we are under a winter storm advisory for the weekend

Weather right now here is 21 deg F - snow flurries - yesterday we had 4 to 6" - Not weird for us. I quess it needs to be cold to snow.

Had a brief snow shower this morning that lead to about 2 inches, expecting about 4 inches tomorrow and tracking another storm for Tuesday. I thought they had forecasted less snow than normal.

In colorado our week went like this in like april.
Sunday- Highs- 70, Lows- 22
Monday- Golf Ball Sized Hail
Tuesday- 2 Inches of snow
Wednesday- 3 Tornados Across the state
Thursday- Lows 30, High- 40
Friday- Pouring Rain
Saturday- Same as friday.
Im not even kidding!

The only good thing about snow is a day off.....LOL...
If we have anything on the road Monday morn.....I am sleeping in......My mustang hates wet roads...and so do I....OH and the people around here do not know how to drive in snow or ice

Our horse loves the snow - people don't know how to drive in the snow up here either, my motto go slow in the snow - and I have a 4x4 Tucson

I never get a snow day. The pet store I work at has a boarding facility and live pets to care for. I am the manager that lives the closest to the store and has a SUV, so I am the elected person to go in.

This thread made me lol. I love the snow, and I love driving in it =D. When else can you do donuts in a 4 cyclinder front wheel drive car?
Anyways, snow is easy, just take it slow, watch for the idiots, and if you start sliding DONT OVER COMPENSATE....dont jerk your wheel or slam on your breaks, its only going to make things worse. I've only spun once this year, and once last year, and both times it was because I was being a jack ass =P

Start and stop slow, make soft turns and for God's sake don't stop in a lane of traffic unless you absolutely have too. Still remember seeing an idiot stop in a lane of traffic I assume because she wanted to change lanes rather than hit what was maybe a 3" high berm where a driveway had been shoveled. Saw at least 3 cars pile up behind her trying to stop before rear ending her.

Right now its snowing, and its says its guna stay like that unitl monday morning. Expected 5-10in.
