Webmaster: Please consider modem users

Hi there,
In future upgrades to this website, please stronly consider the fact that many of us still use modems with 55K connections. For some reason now, whenever my webbrowser loads this page, it now takes twice as long.
In addition, as I type this, there is a delay between the time I type the keys, and the time they display on the screen. Both of these things are quite annonying, and if they were any worse, I would not visit this site.
And I must say, if that "Aquarium Supplies" animation above is slowing things down, it is really not necessary. I think SWF.com gets A LOT of publicity already on these message boards.

Sam....
Just so you know, it's not just the modem users that are experiencing the site loading slower, i have a T1 and work, and a cable connection at home, and I have noticed the same thing recently. Granted, your "twice as long", and MY "twice as long" is a little different, but it is still annoying- it's all a matter of conditioning! :D
But just wanted to echo that I am having problems as well- maybe there is just more traffic and too many people on at once! :)

Oh...and there are those of us still sailing the digital divide on a 28.8....lost in the ocean of info...without a sail....
Enough craziness....but I really do sympathize with all those cable and T1 con users....

you got a 28.8!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cripes man! How do you servive? must have tooken you like 10 mins to post one message! As for me, cable, and running stronge, but she bogs down a bit when we enter the salty sea (saltwaterfish.com) Help us get the 28.8's and 56k's up and puring again Webmaster! They cant take much more of it!

I like they way it was previously, only because if I was reading a post about whatever, and someone started talking about a certian fish or coral I didn't know about, I could lower the pop-up window and look within the site. Otherwise the site looks good and I don't have any problems on my 56K modem, then again I'm on a laptop and it is a 1.4gig.
