I hope they leave him in washington! How do you hold on the last play of the game? I mean seriously come on! and dang, washington is back. Should be a wild ride in the East... I'm not a garret fan, and I'm even less of one after that game. Seriously how do you only score one TD with that offense?

Hey how bout them Texans, ran the ball right down the Colt's throat. Now that is what I'm talking about...

Anyone besides me still think favre is crazy? That is what makes him sooo fun to watch. To bad, non of his recievers could read his mind... I think they're gonna be stupid scary good once they get on the same page. New Orleans had better watch out. I don't think they're the team to beat this year.

They have 2 games tomorrow night, that is kinda cool...

lol did anyone see the lions almost win? I still think that is a catch...
And how in the world do you have a roughing the passer call, when the QB never falls to the ground.

What are you jumping ship to the Texans Stdreb? I would if I were you.

A few surprises yesterday, the teams that surprised me the most were the Skins and the Hawks. The Skins had such a 3 ring circus with fat Albert all preseason, I didn't think they would be ready to play, but Shanahan had the D ready for sure, can't believe Carlos Rogers dropped that int that should have sealed the game far before the hold. Cowgirl fans shouldn't whine too much about the hold, Arakpo had him beat, he was going to sack Romo for sure had he not been held. I thought Pete Carroll had lost his mind when he cut Hushmanzilli and kept Mike (out of the league) Williams, but they rocked the 9ers and good.

Pitt's D looks to be tough, I didn't think they would beat Atlanta with Dennis Dixon. My pick of the Raiders being pretty good looking pretty bad right now.

For my Cardinals, Derek Anderson couldn't connect with Fitzgerald at all other than the TD, hopefully they can get that going as that was the first time they've played together. I think DA threw to him 17 times and had only 3 completions. Cards had 7 fumbles (lost 4) as well. The broadcasters kept saying how great Bradford played, personally I thought he looked like a rookie.

All I know is it was a crappy day in fantasy land for me

Skins and the Seagulls both surprised. If Denver is going to play crappy anyway they might as well start Quinn and Tebow and get them some game time. God they are boring to watch. All in all a pretty good slate of competitive games.

If you notice, not once did I say, that was a bad call. Or that the stripes beat us. Jason Garret's halfback passes, and wr screens and Aholdo beat us. That and a miss field goal, and a time out, that finally got blown loud enough to hear after marion barber had no one between him and the endzone.

And no I'm not jumping ship for the Texan's. They played good, beat their Nemesis, ran for 200 plus yards. And shut down Payton. It should be noted. And congradulated. Personally, a Dallas Houston Superbowl in Dallas would mean I could die having seen everything... Besides, I HATE Texan's fans. They have a GIANT little guy problem. And can't accept their place. As a new franchise who has never made the playoffs. They haven't even been in existance for as many years as the Cowboys have been in the superbowls... Well this might be their 10th year. No one else has either they need to get over it...

BTW I didn't see sportscenter last night, how did the Tebow, McCoy, sam Bradford thing play out?

Anyone watch the two games last night? I forgot to set the DVR so only got to watch the Chrages game. Man did the Charges have so many chances to tie it up at the end. Seems like there have been some upsets with the first week of ball officially behind us.

I'm developing a plan, probably going to do next year. Where it will be a last man standing. (meaning basically you pick one team to win) But add some sort of wrinkle, where it has to be an underdog. I'm also playing with the idea, of instead of that, picking one team, an underdog, and keep track of the spread of the picks. And incorporate that spread into a scoring system.
