And what size tank is yours in? I did some research on it and it seems that it needs about 220 gallons or so to be happy. What else is in the tank with that angel?
He is currently residing in my 240 gallon (8' x 2' x 2'), with a Rock Beauty Angel, Annularis Angel, Naso tang, and a Crosshatch Trigger (in my avatar). I have eventual plans to add an anthias shoal, a large wrasse, and another passive trigger (Lei). The problem with minimum tank recommendations, is that they are a little too broad in most cases. For example, IMHO a Blueface (or some other large angels, since this is the topic on hand), purchased as juvi's/sub-adults in the 3"-4" range could live a very long time in something like a 150gal. However a big 9" Blueface collected that size from the wild, immediately needs his large tank (220gal+).
