Week 6

What everyone think of week 6 in the football world? Was the best to far, IMO. Lots of great games that came down to the wire. The best was Atlanta over Chicago. Chicago scores a TD with 11 seconds to go and takes the lead (20-19). Bears decided for a short squib kick and no time expires. On the next play for the Falcons, Matt Ryan throws a 26yd pass to Michael Jenkins (that was one heck of a grab) with 1 second left on the clock, setting up a 48-yd field goal by Jason Elam for the Falcon win (22-20).

AWESOME WIN BY THE CARDINALS!!! im sure the cowchicken fans will blame the loss on the refs though...
the Bucs PWND the Panthers!!!
and the one guy that i say is NOT the best WR didnt help his team out at all, took plays off, got "JAMMED" and only had 3 rec for 26 yds... yet another spectacular display...

I haven't watched the cowboys game, I taped it. So I'll watch it. Although it is hard to beat the stripes and the other team, it is something we've grown accustomed to. And after all we have 5 rings, so it can be done. I've been saying for the past 3 weeks, that I think Romo is hurt. I guess we'll see.

this is SOOOOOOOOOOO freakin typical... ya all should have cheese factories... its a nice partner with whine!!! and besides i would say the refs are against San Diego this year for sure... 2 BLATENT blown calls (one in the Denver game that lost them the game and one last night that negated an INT)... i have yet to see the cowchickens get a bad call this year... and yes i have watched all of their games...

ummm, I haven't seen the game yet. But I can think of a couple. When they played the iggles, and they blew the call dead before he crossed the line. We would have recovered. And that defensive pass interfearance call, when newman (I think) was pulled into the WR and got called for interfearance in the endzone. But then again, if a cowboys fan sees a bad call of course he is wrong.

you are aware about a play being blown dead right??? it happens to everyone not just the cowchickens... there are 31 other teams that get bad calls... and no its not that if a cowchicken fan thinks there is a bad call youre automatically wrong, its the fact that everyone that i know that is a cowboy fan swears that the refs are gunning for them... i call total BS... the refs CANNOT be partial in a game and they are paid to call the game to the best of their ability... they are human and they do make mistakes...
and there wasnt a bad call vs the Cardinals... i was making a blanket statement that cowchickens fans would blame the loss on the refs...

no one cares about the cowboys..

but the bucs on the other hand.

lol, they had a great game over the panthers. iam glad they were ablw to get over the lost from last week.

Well judging from Basketball, I wouldn't think it is that much of a stretch that football refs are shaving points.
All i know is that during the skins game I went to TO was running around with the DB riding piggy back. And not getting a call. Not blaming the refs for the game, but it is far and few between when I see a bad call going against a team playing the cowboys.

the ref's gave "America's team" every chance to tie/win that game. the get more calls for then against. BTY Romo's got a broken finger, he's out 4 weeks.

I am an umpire, I've called high school/college baseball. I know bad officiating and good officiating. You won't see me whine about good calls. I'm a little more than your average, dumb fan. (which I do agree the cowboys have a lot of)

Looks like Da Boys have even bigger problems --
IRVING – The Dallas Cowboys’ once-promising season is in jeopardy after the NFL announced Tuesday it is suspending Cowboys cornerback Adam Jones indefinitely without pay for once again violating the league’s personal conduct policy.
The timing of the suspension couldn’t be worse for the slumping team. On Monday, the Cowboys learned quarterback Tony Romo will be sidelined for at least a month after suffering a broken finger in last weekend’s overtime loss to Arizona.
In that same game, punter Mat McBriar, running back Felix Jones, receiver Sam Hurd and linebacker Anthony Spencer all sustained injuries that will either cost them their seasons or substantial playing time.
And without Jones, the team’s already-suspect defense will have to rely even more on two rookies, first-round pick Mike Jenkins and fifth-round choice Orlando Scandrick.

I dunno, the "suspect" defense hasn't played that bad. I am amuzed how Pacman suddenly became the cowboys best DB, after the fight. I was watching the news report this weekend. And they said, "the cowboys best defensive back" when refering to pacman. I didn't really think he played all that great.
But this wasn't a good week for cowboys fans, that is for sure. However, I do have a theory about this. And I know all you cowboy haters are going to laugh at me. But I think this whole week is a good thing. For a few reasons. Mainly I think the cowboys have been going through the motions, and it shows by their record. If the cowboys are going to succeed they are going to have to grow a pair, and play hard. imo they need some adversity, To coalesce as a team. They are going to have to do it themselves because Phillips isn't going to push them too. I hope this forces some personal responsibility to develope some leadership on this team. Because right now, it doesn't have any.
