Weekly evaporation rates ?

I was wondering what the average evaporation rate is out there. Obviously there are a number of factors that determine this process but it would still be interesting to know.
I am currently topping of around 15g a week. Thanks a lot!

Wouldn't this depend on the size of tank you have? I have a 29 that loses more water per week than my 10. Just a thought!

The 72g losses 3-4 gallons a week
The 125g losses 6-7 gallons a week

5 - 20 gallons a day, depending on how long I have the cover off the refugium.

my five gallon loses about 2 cups of water per day ... but I just upped hte lights so it may be 2 1/2 cups ....

2.5-3 gallons a day. My tank is upstairs in my house and being in Florida heat is a major problem. I have to use fans and evaporation to keep the temp around 80-83. Not rich enough to keep the air blowing all day and all night long.

I replace about 6 - 7 gals a week on my 135 gal.

I evaporate about 3 gal per day on my 55 gal reef.
But the total water volume is much more than the display. I run a 15 gal sump...and 3 seperate refugiums that have about 30 gal each...so total volume is closer to 160-170 gal plus or minus. In addition all the water is open to the air...no covers on the display/sump/refugiums.

How many cover your sump ? mine is not covered and I go thru about a gallon a day , 90 gal tank 30 gal sump. will a cover help all of us ???

At the most 6 gal a week on my 125 w/20 gal sump.
My other to tanks 46 and 55 I only lose about 3 gal a week.
