Well here is my situation, and I need opinions and guesses on my "situation".
My handyman is starting work on my custom stand and canopy for my 120. I am curious on how much this bad boy is going to weigh when it is all said and done. So here is some info for all you math gurus (I am not) to figure this problem out.
120 Perfecto 60*18*26
29 All Glass Sump
32" tall stand (pine)
18" tall canopy (pine)
(2) pairs of 48" vho lighting (actinic and "normal")
Berlin (not sure of model yet) skimmer
Two overflows
three powerheads
(2) 150w heaters
120# of live rock
250# of live sand
mag pump of some sorts
misc (tubing, fans, etc....)
So what am I looking at here for total weight? My best figures is in the 1600 lbs neighboorhood. Or am I shooting for the stars?
Reason for this madness is my tank is going to be on the second floor of the family business (my apt). I dont feel it would be decent if it feel threw the floor. It will be set adjacent to the floor joists (best way), and about 8" from a load bearing wall. I have talked to several engineers and my handyman, and all have given me a thumbs up. Just wanted your two cents on the matter.
Thanks
MM
