weight of a 125 gal tank

hey,
i'm thinking about getting a 125 that i've found a good deal on. the problem is the space i have for tanks is on the first floor (over a basement) and runs parallel to the joists so a 125's weight would only be distributed over 2 joists at best. it is against a wall, so one of the joists is doubled up and there is a steel post from the basement to the first floor in one corner near the tank. am i going to have a weight problem with that location?

you will be in the 1200 to 1300 lb range
that should be ok, for where you want to put it,
dont feel bad
my tank is in the 3800 to 4000 lb range

leigh i have a 135 on on the first floor with same situation and no problems, tank has been there for almost 5 years now. i have estimated my weight on tank at about 1500-1700 lbs.
