Weird acting Cabbage coral

the best part in my opinion of shedding corals is the other animals that the sheds feed, there are some fish that consume coral slime and there are multiple inverts that benifit from it. of course if flow in a tank is too light with a heavy shedder the sheds can be a problem getting caught up in other corals and smothering them or inciting a protozoan infection. this is another reason proper flow is advised for those keeping leather of various sorts, to assist in the removal of the shed from the host coral (so it actually sheds instead of smothers) and to assist in breaking up the shed and keeping it moving instead of setteling and becomeing a problem.
