Weird fish and LFS???

sry this is sorta stupid question.. im just wondering what kind of fish i saw at the LFS? i looks like some type of tang... but its AT THE MOST half an inch long... greyish color.....sry not a very good description
does anyone have any clue what it might be?

Could have just been a baby you saw. I've seen hippo tangs smaller than quarters.

o... now that i think of it, it kinda looked like a baby powder blue tang but it was ALL grey?

they have their distinctive color pattern even at baby size. it could have beeb eiter a vlamenji or naso, i have seen both of them as babies.

ya it looked like that one that started with a v... but it didnt have any of those blue lines... how big would it get?

Vlamingi,unicorn are a couple possibilties....16"-18" or better...needs a 6' tank or more...in the 180 range.
