Weird spots on Powder Blue, Help?!

Well it's a weird deal. About 3 weeks ago I got this powder blue about 6" in length. He had been in quarantine until tuesday as to which I introduced him, a yellow, and a purple to my 220g. He eats like a hog when it come to greens, but doesn't seem to touch any meaty foods, and I have tried about everything.
As of yesterday he was perfect looking. Well today he has some little "bumps" ever so often across it's body. Should I worry about this or is this part of it's adjustment to the new tank? All the other fish are fine, as is he, but these spots I don't like...
There has been some aggression between him and the two others, but he has always prevailed and kept his munchin' on the algae more than the other...
Thanx

What you've explained reminds me of the time when my Blue Tang got ich. I am not sure though, are the spots white?
Post a pic if you can.

It's not like salt sprinkles like ich. Its like pimples under the skin, but not white...

Thats ich before it comes to the surface, i would put him back in QT. This happened to mine, and i didn't know it was the first sign of ich, i found out afew days later when the white spots appeared, i lost him

I don't think there is anyway I could get him back out of the tank. Why would this crap have to happen the after 3 weeks in qt, and not a sign of any kind of stress...pisses me off

I'm done adding fish now but thats why every fish in my tank saw culpramine in the QT before going in. some dont like the profilactic approach but unless you are going to quarantine for minimum of 4wks and 6-8 better there is no garauntee parasites are going to show in a 3wks time frame. All my fish go thru 3wks of low level culpramine/QT and all my inverts have to come from tanks that dont house any fish or I dont buy em. Once you've moved every rock and coral and stuffed all your fish in a 30gallon for 4wks there is no going back to chance.

Well I knew what i was getting into when i got my PB, i didn't expect ich after 4 weeks of QT, but it happens with these fish. By the time i was able to fish mine out of my 150 he was so stressed, the ich went rampade after that, not a thing i could do
These are my all time fav fish, but i wouldn't try one again.

As for getting him to eat meaty foods I just dident feed my fish for a day and the next day only gave him meats, he went for it and now eats everything, Just incase you dident try that, because thats what I did.

The spots are not ich comming to the surface. Ich is an external parasite that will dig under the skin to host. A picture would help. Tangs are very prone to ich. You had 3. They were all introduced to the qt at the same time? And all stayed in qt for 3 weeks and never showed the slightest sign of infection until introduced to the display?

Well today there are a few little white sposts now, but more like a whihead pimple. Actually I have had the purple for about 6 weeks in a different tank and he has been fine since the day I got him. The yellow has been in captivity for about 4 years I have had him about 8 months and he's in great shape. The blue was in a 30g tank for the 3 weeks by itself and not a sign of any kind of illness. He ate after the first 45 minutes...
