Weird thing growing on rock

Does anyone know what this is? It is the thing on the rock to the left of the torch.

Have you ripped any colt coral out???? or a leather?

I've never owned a colt coral. It could be a piece of a toadstool. 3 months ago I pried my toadstool off a rock, so that could explain it.

COuld be.....I have one that was attached to 2 rocks.....it actually moved over to one on its own...and now I have 3....LOL...
