weird tracks...

i tried to take a picture but my camera wont let it show up clear..the algae i clean off the inside front with the magnet scraper thing ..well every morning i wake up there is like tracks or footprints going threw it kinda looks like a worm was crawling around they look like this = = = = = but kinda rounded out lines....does anyone have any clue????

Ya, they are tracks from your snails. If you don't have snails then i don't know what they could be.

It must have been the turbo snail - tip toeing - trying to sneak up on some algae

Normally these little tracks are made by the smaller snails such as nassarius - if all you have is a large turbo then it's anyones guess - only way to know for sure is to stay up late and wait for Santa.

It's most likely your Turbo snail. They are mostly nocturnal... Hermits don't climb on the glass and nassarius snails burrow in the sand bed. My snails leave the same kind of track marks.

my hermits never cease to amaze me, 2 of mine got on a snail and rode it all the way to the top of my glass. and on the way up they did eat some algea

oh when i said hermits i was thinking the tracks were in the sand. im not paying attention.

it's definitely the turbo....i had no idea what those were too for the longest time until i saw my turbos actually leaving the trail
