Weird Trigger Behavior

Hey guys... I have a fairly small Rectangle Trigger in my 60g FOWLR, and he is doing great. He is getting along pretty well with the tankmates and does not seem that aggressive, for now.... Anyway, I put in strips of algae in the morning for my herbivores, and all of a sudden, I see my Rectangle go up and start going to town on the algae!
I was wondering, has anyone else seen this before? It shouldn't be an issue of hunger, I feed the fish a block of mysis shrimp and formula 2 each night and he just gobbles up each of them (mostly the mysis though). So if you guys could give me a little advice on what may be happening with my trigger, thanks! I'm sure its nothing to be concerned about, but I'm just curious. Thanks in advance!

It's perfectly normal, in fact some algae is good for them. My triggers eat algae too.

I don't think there is such thing as "weird" behavior for a Trigger, nothing a Trigger does surprises me anymore.
