what is a nautilus? I saw one at my lfs. they arent selling it but it was the weirdest thing i have ever seen and i wanna know what it is.... any body have a clue?

The chamberd nautilus is awsome the altimate hunter it's realy cool to see hunting they require cold water temps, some will never get the right boyancy in captivity and if they do the shell will no longer grow the right color (all the new shell being formed will be black)

They need deep tanks...most don't survive captivity. We thought of getting one, until we researched the requirements.
It is a a pretty cool creature, but requires a very specialized system.
