Salt this one is too much of a PIG, he could easily eat one silverslide a day, He just loves arrow crabs I found out the hard way, but does not go after the shrimp or fish YET, hes about a 2 years old.. I fed him a big cube of TILAPIA I bought from PUBLIX, He rolled it up like sushi between his little legs and divoured it in about 30min, then at night OUT AND ABOUT to scavenge AGAIN!! believe it or not...

how big is he not including tentacles? mine is a few months old now and has molted about 4 times, pretty much doubling in size. he is now about 3 solid inches from eye to tail. i didnt feed him the first three weeks and he ate my cleaner shrimp and one blood shrimp. once i started feeding him, no more problems and my remaining CBS and blood shrimp are still alive.

I know the lobster police will come after me for this one but.....

I tried to keep a very small Florida Spiny that I caught a few years back and that little monster was an unholy terror. I would say he was 4-4.5" eye to tail and that little demon ate or killed EVERYTHING in my tank in 2 days.

1-Queen Angel
1-French Angel
2-Fourspot Butterflies
2-Atlantic Blue Tangs
1-Yellowhead Jawfish
2-Neon Gobies
1-Spanish Hogfish
2-Coral Bandeds
As sick or sad it may sound to some of ya'll...I ate the little bugger.

Hes about 6" long tail to eyes,, He seem to only have an affinity for crabs,, well at least arrow crabs.. BUT DOESNT touch anything else,, leaves the cleaner, pep, bloods alone, neon goby is fine... HIS antenae STICK out of the TOP of the TANK and are like 14" long each... Its gonna be sad to say goodbye!

They will grow back next molt. You'll have to get a good deep net behind him and scare him into it.
Another method is to snare him around the tail. Dive shops have the special ones for doing this and maybe if one of your friends are regular divers they might have one. It has a rubberized or plastic loop so it won't hurt the lobster.
