Well now what?

Got another question, the live rock at my lfs is covered in brown algea im assuming. The tanks look good they definantly have stuff growing on them. I didn't mind buying the small rocks for my filtration, but I was going to go out and get the large rocks firday to start my cycle this weekend. My question is, is it ok to scrub that stuff off with a bristle brush to actually expose the rock or should I just let my cleaning crew clean it off when I put them in?

To get rid of the film of the top of the water, try to point the pump to the surface of the water. And yes, you can scrub the rocks down.

OK thanks I got the film almost completlty gone now. I have some updated pics with my new live rock, and in the second picture I have this interesting little coral like thing. Its completly white with white bristles all over its body. You can kind of see it in the second picture, if anyone knows what it might be I would greatly appreciate it.
