Besides the fact that it looks good to most people, it's usually an indicator of very good water conditions. :D

Long story... but there were some changes that happened overnight. So when i get home i'll post some pictures...
BTW I think they color you are looking at is just the color of the rock...

Coraline algae is also red and green correct. As long as it encrusting its good. Slimey, no good.

I only have base rock..... and this has been forming lately...I use to have a bunch of dead head corals that would also get this on them....

is it slimy? looks like it though....
lucky me, all i get is green coraline on my glass and purple on my rocks because of my MH lights
