Hey, it's all cool! Start the new one on Monday.
Hindsight is 20/20. I should have taken a few weeks off!
Yep ... if you can afford it, that is the way to go. I wished many years ago that I would have taken some time off between finishing college and starting my job.

Your first post was just....wrong!

I felt heartsick when I thought you had lost employment, only to find too much later that you are only changing jobs.
You toyed with my sympathy...

Good luck on the new job!! I hope the pay/environment/location/etc is an improvement!

Don't you get Monday off for Memorial Day??
Good luck on the new job. :)
Last Monday was Victoria Day so Monday is just a regular work day. With the last job I had to work every Saturday. The new one is Mon to Fri!

I just looked up my place of employment on their corporate website. Our store no longer exists. Just a matter of time, now. I guess not paying your franchise fee has it's consequences.
Congratulations on the new job, maggot. (that just sounds wrong)

Thanks for all your support! I think I've fell into an awesome position and was the right move at the right time for me.
Next time I will take a few weeks off in between jobs!
