We're Still Here!! And Anemone Question/Opinion

Well, we've been remodeling our bathrooms, I mean completely gutted them! So, we've actually not been home and we don't get to see our fishies for hours a day...but it's coming along. So, that's pretty much been our lives these days.
But our tank is doing very well. We're actually ordering a new fish, a blonde naso which will be here tomorrow!
Now, on to the question. We got a bubble tip anemone prior to switching over to our new tank. The anemone was small, and tends to stay under rocks, but does reach out for some light. It's not grown at all since we got it (several several months ago). Should we get another one and try again? Or perhaps is it that our tank just isn't suited for one? Side note: We have a pink tip anemone that we got at about 4 inches or less and has grown to be HUGE, about 8 - 9 inches now. It is thriving.

I bought a rose bubble tip anemone about a year ago. He started out the size of babyfood jar. Over the next several months, he shrunk to the size of a quarter, than then hung there for many more months.
There were two main problems. My clownfish, and my cleaner shrimp. Both would steal any food that drifted his way, and even when I spot fed him, they would steal it out and away from him.
I finally developed a technique to get him plenty of food. I would just give the shrimp his own piece of silverside, and then put mysis in for the clownfish, and the other fish. While they were eating, I would spot feed the anemone.
I now have five anemones, all a little smaller than my hand. I'm actually going to have to get rid of a couple the next time they split. I now feed them sivlersides, and also chunks of raw squid and shrimp from the seafood shop. The other good thing is that when they are big and healthy, the cleaner shrimp gets stung, and can't get food from them. My clown also is hosting in one now, and doesn't seem interested in stealing food anymore.
I would really make sure you spot feed that anemone, and make sure that it is getting plenty of food.

We do spot feed, but maybe we should try some of the better foods as mentioned. Thanks.
